Built-In Backup 
The Data Backup and Restore functions have been improved. New is the Auto-Backup
function to perform a backup each time you leave The Working Writer.
Data Import / Export
You can import data into The Working Writer, as well as export data
to other programs quickly and easily.
Built-In Word Processor
The Working Writer now has it's own RichText word processor built in.
This allows you great flexibility in creating mail-merge templates and
other documents. This is not some simple edit control either. This is
a fully functional word processor that has almost all the functionality
of Microsoft Word.
Built-In Mail-Merge
We have added a fully customizable mail-merge function to the system.
You can use this to create templates for your more common letters and
turn your more repetitive tasks into mere seconds.
Improved Menu System
The menu system has been completely re-written.
Toolbar
The new toolbar gives you instant access to the main functions of the
program.
Auto-Generate a Letter of Inquiry for Your Outstanding
Submissions
When you need to contact an editor regarding an outstanding submission,
The Working Writer can generate an inquiry letter for you.
Timers
We have added Query Letter and Submission Timers so that you can decide
the time limit for outstanding queries and submissions.
Manuscript Deadlines
Each manuscript has an optional Deadline Date, which, if set, allows
you to be warned if a manuscript is approaching (or past) it's deadline
for submission.
Multiple Genres
Each individual publication can have unlimted genre definitions.
Multiple Contact People
Each publication can have unlimited contacts.
Data Access Button Bar
All data entry screens have a simple to use data access button bar.
All your options are one click away.
Lookup List Screens
You can now access all Lookup List Edit Screens from anywhere in the
system
Hint Panel
When editing any record, a Hint Panel displays information about each
individual data field .
View / Edit Mode Identification
Easily identify Viewing or Editing modes by screen color and Caption
heading.
Date Support
Pop-Up calendars are available to aid date selection for all date fields.
Where it makes sense, the current date is automatically filled in for
you.
